The log file snippet @Requiem provided had the right encoding.
The test file you provided @ltfearme was ANSI encoded, so that one would not work with Scandinavian characters. But if I open it in Notepad++ and convert it to a UTF-8, you're test file works as expected with the Scandinavian characters :)
