Sorry for the delay replying owlsroost, I personally didn't find any improvement - I ended up applying the recommended MPAR settings that were highlighted in this thread and putting the 1.15 MPAR OCX file back in place and all seems OK now for me.

I understand the issue to be that many boards dont supply quite enough power to internal sockets like they do for external ones. There has also been a couple of reports of the pins being wrong for some people.

If this is an analog card, those channel numbers seem too high. Are you trying to watch from a cable TV feed? If there is a setting for the input type (cable or broadcast) change it to broadcast.

Closing this thread now because we have no plans at all to allow to dissable timeshift in MP1 - simply because it is not worth the time to rework it that much.
The next version of our tv-engine (for MP2) might allow that.
